[TPC] – Rick Smith brings extensive golf experience to the TPC Valencia with more than three decades of history in the golf community of Santa Clarita Valley which began at Vista Valencia as Assistant Golf Professional. Since then, Rick has worked his way from Head Golf Professional at Valencia Country Club to General Manager at Robinson Ranch. Rick’s assistance in new business development will include a variety of services to the TPC Valencia, such as teaching golf lessons and clinics, developing Member outreach programs, assisting in Membership Development and charity golf tournaments and corporate golf outings.
“Rick’s long standing relationship with the Santa Clarita Valley community as well as his extensive experience in the golf industry makes him the ideal complement to the TPC Valencia team,” says Mike van der Goes, General Manager at the TPC Valencia.
Rick is a Quarter Century Member of the PGA of America and has twice been honored with Merchandiser of the Year for the Southern California Chapter of the PGA. His community relations and outreach over the years includes many of the non-profit organizations in the Santa Clarita Valley.
