Snapshot 09/08/2014 – 09/14/2014
A domestic violence incident occurred near the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road/Gailxy Avenue. The suspect grabbed the victim violently and took her purse from her. The suspect left the location and has not been arrested.
An Assault with a deadly weapon occurred at Soledad Canyon Road/Galeton Road. The suspect assaulted the victim after the victim refused to give the suspect money. The suspect hit the victim on the head with a skateboard. The suspect was subsequently arrested for the assault.
A residential burglary occurred near the 16500 block of Sierra Highway. When deputies arrived to the location they received the suspect’s description along with her vehicles description. A deputy driving through the area located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy discovered that the vehicle the suspect was driving was reported stolen. The suspect had several stolen items in the truck from the original residential burglary call. She was arrested for the theft and booked at Santa Clarita Valley Station.
There was a residential burglary reported near the 27600 block of Marta Lane. This incident occurred on 09-11-14, between 5:30pm and 6:30pm. The victim left the apartment and possibly left the garage door open. When she returned home she noticed her garage door was open and 4 electric guitars were stolen.
There was a residential burglary reported near the 27600 block of Spencer Court. This incident occurred on Saturday between 6:00pm and 9:30pm. In this incident the victim left her garage door open while she unpacked her vehicle. When she came out she saw that her sons bicycle was stolen. The bike is made by “Pure Fix” and is grey in color.
A residential burglary was reported near the 18000 block of Annes Circle. The suspect entered the victims open garage and entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle. The Suspect stole a Compaq 15” computer.
There was a shop lifting burglary incident reported at the Target on Golden Valley Road. The suspects stole the victim’s purse at Trader Joes and used the stolen credit cards at Target in Canyon Country. This case is being investigated by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
