As the Amgen Tour of California nears closer, Westfield Valencia Town Center is running a race of its own by asking the community to select this year’s National Anthem vocalist to perform at the Stage 4 Start of the Amgen Tour in California here in Santa Clarita on Wednesday, May 15th at Westfield Valencia Town Center.

“We are very excited about hosting the Amgen Tour of California and the National Anthem contest,” said Raj Chandani, General Manager. “The opportunity to be involved in such a prestigious event and kick off the event with community energy and patriotism is wonderful,” he added.

The Amgen Tour of California is one of the nation’s largest and most recognized annual cycling road races spanning across 750-miles across California. Last year’s tour drew over 2 million spectators at this exciting race. Visit Westfield Valencia Town Center to join in the fun and cheer on the cyclists as they race through Santa Clarita.

On Tuesday, May 14th the Stage 3 Finish and Festival will take place from 11am-4pm, with the riders concluding this portion of the race at 4:00pm. Come by and visit the festival and Westfield Style Lounge for free massages, free trampoline bungee fun for the kids, the Amgen Tour of California awards ceremony and more.

On Wednesday, May 15th the National Anthem singer chosen by the community will perform live on at the Start of Stage 4 located on Town Center Drive. Festivities begin at 11:00am with a race start time of 12:30pm. There’s much more fun to be had after the race at Westfield Valencia Town Center with shopping, dining and more.
