community-gardensThe public is invited to join the City of Santa Clarita’s City Council, City of Santa Clarita Arts Commission, and Arts and Events Office on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Westfield Valencia Town Center for a reception celebrating the newest exhibit on the Community Wall titled “Community Garden: A Day in the Life.”

This photography exhibit features images of the Santa Clarita Community Garden taken by members of the Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Association.  The exhibit, which will be on display through January 13, 2014, highlights the garden, provides some history of the endeavor, and includes two poems written by members of the Community Garden.

Come meet the artists, talk to others that are excited about art and the Community Garden, and enjoy light appetizers and entertainment. The reception will take place on the 2nd floor, just off the Patios, on the Sears side of the mall.
