The California Film Commission is now recruiting for new positions in its Hollywood office.
The CFC is a state department within the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz). The CFC’s staff includes dedicated civil service employees as well as senior staff with extensive film production experience.
The CFC issues film permits for all state properties, administers the Film and TV Tax Credit Program, maintains an extensive location library, offers production assistance on a wide variety of issues, and works closely with cities and counties to create “film friendly” policies statewide.
New job openings include:
- (2) General Office Assistants (state classification: Office Technician)
- Tax Credit Program Coordinator (classification – Staff Services Analyst)
- Tax Credit Program Analyst (classification – Motion Picture Production Analyst – requires strong film/TV budgeting skills)
- IT Programmer
