I am so glad that I don’t live in Vista Hills. This addendum will put the heliport right on a level with people’s houses. bet that was a use they would NEVER have bought next door to if they had known. This location was kept out of the original plan because the noise would be so great right next to residences. Now they are trying to get it again when no one is watching.

NOt to mention grading away the toe of the hill to expand the buildings in a way that could cause houses above to be unstable.

Well our planning commission be able to say no to poor planning? Is the community awake enough to see what is going on? Sadly, probably not on either account. I guess we get the government we deserve, as they say.

At least thanks to CEQA (the California Environmental Quality Act) that some politicians are constantly trying to get rid of,the public must be informed of this.

  2. C. Harris says:

“allow for an increase in the approved building square footage by 30,566 square feet to a total of 698,000 square feet, and allow for the relocation of the Helipad to the northwest corner of the Inpatient Building”
How many NEW beds? Will the ER be expanded? The Helipad will be a busy place as HMNMH serves both the I-5 and SR-14 for crash accidents. as well as the 750 square miles of Santa Clarita Valley.
Will the extra 30,566 sq-ft. be additional office space?
Short notice for the neighbors to come out to voice their concerns!
