On June 3 Roy Wiegand will again run hundreds of miles to raise money for the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children’s Cancer.
Ultra distance runner, Roy Wiegand, is planning to run 131 miles which is equivalent to 5 marathons, from the Burbank Tennis Center with stops along the way at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Children’s Hospital Orange County and back again.
The 29-hour event will end with a carnival at the Burbank Tennis Center on Saturday, June 4. All proceeds from this run and event will go to the Michael Hoefflin Foundation for Children’s Cancer.

Wiegand did his first run for MHF in 2014, in honor of Christopher Wilke, a 12-year-old boy who died of cancer of the bile ducts on March 20, 2014. More than $24,000 for the Foundation has been raised from this special run over the last two years.
