On March 3, 2017, at approximately 10:25 a.m., a woman, eight months pregnant, was robbed at a Canyon Country convenience store located on the 18200 block of Soledad Canyon Road.
The 23-year-old victim was attempting to make a money order purchase. During the transaction, the victim placed cash on the store clerk’s counter. As she was conducting the transaction, the suspect, a black male in his 30’s, approximately 5’9″ with black curly hair, medium length, walked into the store, standing behind her as she placed money on the counter. The suspect then shoved the victim to the side, grabbing the money on the counter. The store clerk simultaneously grabbed cash at the same time. The suspect released most of the currency and fled on foot. The victim, believing the suspect was still in possession of a large quantity of her cash, chased after the suspect.
