[News Release] – In an effort to help local business owners see their enterprises thrive and expand, Rick Hernandez, President, Syntesis Global, LLC will deliver the presentation “Growing Your Business in the 21st Century, A New Era” during the spring 2014 College of the Canyons Chancellor’s Circle Breakfast Briefing.
Hernandez is an author, speaker and management advisor with more than 20 years of experience in helping to assist small business owners and company executives proactively improve their quality and performance metrics.
Included in the presentation will be useful insights about:
- Taking your business to the next level in the areas of overall performance, change management and personal accountability.
- New concepts to increase leadership capabilities, strategic thinking and the ability to adapt to new and demanding roles during times of change.
- How to achieve excellence in service, innovation and market differentiation.
“Growing your business and customer base is not about doing different things,” Hernandez said. “It’s about doing things differently.”
The spring 2014 Breakfast Briefing will take place at 7:30 a.m. Friday, May 2, in the Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center, Room 258, on the college’s Valencia campus (University Center Drive entrance).
Breakfast will be served beginning at 7:30 a.m., followed by the morning’s main presentation at 8:15 a.m.
Registration for the Chancellor’s Circle Breakfast Briefing is free for Chancellor’s Circle members and $15 for non-members. Tickets are available through the COC Foundation.
All reservations must be received by Tuesday, April 29.

The Chancellor’s Circle is a partnership between College of the Canyons and a diverse group of businesses, community members, non-profit groups, government leaders and others who are committed to strengthening the community by actively supporting strong partnerships.
