Earlier this week I met with public officials to discuss the near, medium, and long-term challenges regarding the gas leak near Porter Ranch. Future of Flight
On February 12, the Committee on Science, Space, & Technology held a hearing and passed H.R. 4489, the FAA Leadership In Groundbreaking High-Tech Research and Development Act (FLIGHT R&D Act). This bill, which I introduced last week, would authorize the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to study and utilize improvements in aerospace technology with the goal of advancing aviation safety, security, and economic competitiveness.
