25Score and LIMS Movie Studios are bringing “Casket Lake Family Halloween Event” to Santa Clarita Valley on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Witches, zombies, ghosts and fairies alike are all invited to attend this spook-tacular day that will be held at the LIMS Movie Studio in Castaic.

“It’s an opportunity for families to bring their little superheroes, star wars wannabes, and dolled up princesses to an indoor-outdoor family adventure.  This year’s festivities include a Kids Zone with jumpers and games, a petting zoo, hayride, costume parade, trick-or-treating, face painting, slot car racing, California Youth Chess League games, BOO-th vendors, food, raffle and a DJ, just to name a few,” said Marlene Bernstein, co-owner of 25Score with her husband, Ed Bernstein. “The list of fun things to do grows every day.  Scarecrow Alley was just added to the list of activities.  Individuals, businesses and organizations can sign up to decorate a scarecrow to be displayed at the entrance of Casket Lake.   Scarecrow winners will be awarded at the event.  This year Spotlight Arts Center will be the non-profit organization benefitting from the entries to Scarecrow Alley.”

Many local businesses in Castaic and SCV have come together to be a part of the event with some donating their goods and services and others becoming sponsors.  “I See Party Rentals is celebrating their 6th Year Anniversary and is featuring their rentals, games and jumpers, Platinum Pro Portables is featuring their luxury portable restrooms and LIMS in Castaic is hosting the event at their facility.  These are just a few examples of local businesses participating,” explained Ed Bernstein, “Scott Edwards with Hancock Mortgage was one of the first Sponsors to sign up,” he continued.  “The Sponsorship Package really resonated with me, explained Edwards, “Local non-profits will be receiving donated event tickets from Hancock Mortgage. It makes me feel good that the tickets will be distributed among the families that the non-profit supports. It’s a great way to give back to our community.”

Tickets to the event and Scarecrow Alley entry forms can be found on the official website, www.CasketLakeHaunt.com.  Tickets can also be purchased from various non-profit organizations, schools and clubs in Santa Clarita.  The address for the event is: LIMS Studio: 27537 Fantastic Lane, Castaic.

Casket Lake Family Halloween Event is from 11:00am – 5:00pm on October 23, 2016.  Admission prices are $8.00 for children/seniors and $12.00 for adults.  A Family Package for $30.00 that includes 2 Adult and 2 Child tickets is also available until 10/20.
