Update as of 3:15 p.m.: According to the LaCoFD Incident Commander (IC) #RyeFire at 5,000 acres with five percent containment.
Update as of 2:05 p.m.: From the Twitter feed of the city of Santa Clarita. #RyeFire update. Interstate 5 is back open in both directions through Santa Clarita, per California Highway Patrol.
Update as of 1:35 p.m.: From LaCoFD Twitter feed: #RyeFire is now at 1,000 acres. For evacuations and road closures, please follow @LASDHQ
