NORTHRIDGE, CA – A total of 28 CSUN student-athletes were named to the 2015 Big West Conference Fall All-Academic Team announced by the league office. To receive a place on the team, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, be at least a sophomore academically at their institution and compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests during the season.
All five of CSUN’s fall sports were well represented on the conference team. CSUN Women’s Soccer had 10 honorees on the conference team while both the Women’s Volleyball and Men’s Cross Country teams had five. Women’s Cross Country and Men’s Soccer each were represented with four student-athletes apiece.
With 28 student-athletes on the 2015 All-Academic Team, CSUN tied Cal Poly and UC Davis for the most honorees in the conference this season.
