ARTree will be hosting artist Sandy Fisher for a presentation this August.
Unlike many artists, Fisher did not spend her early years studying art. However, she was always creating, working on embroidery, macramé, stained glass, and finally, photography and painting. But it was not until surviving her second cancer diagnosis that Fisher became a full time artist.
Motivated by nature, faith and a deep love for life, this past president of the Santa Clarita Artists Association will share what moves her to create. Join for a touching conversation with one of Santa Clarita’s inspiring artists.
The event will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016 – 6:30 p.m. at the Old Town Newhall Library.
