Castaic and Val Verde: Zone 2
Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the Week of 8/31/2015 to 9/6/2015
The following crimes were reported in Zone 2- Castaic/Val Verde:
A stolen vehicle was reported from the 28000 block of Livingston Avenue. The victim reported that her 2014 black 4-door Honda Civic was stolen from the parking lot at her work.
A theft was reported from the 29000 block of Madrid Place. The victim reported his 2016 vehicle registration sticker taken from his vehicle. The crime occurred between the dates of August 28, 2015 and September 2, 2015.
A vehicle burglary was reported from the 31000 block of Castaic Road. The victim reported the driver’s side window to his truck was broken, and his backpack containing miscellaneous paperwork was stolen from inside the vehicle. The crime occurred on September 6, 2015.
A vehicle burglary was discovered on the 31000 block of The Old Road by patrolling deputies. A deputy contacted a man with several bags of property leaving a nearby storage yard. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that several RV’s had been broken into, and the suspect was in possession of numerous stolen items. The deputy identified the victims and the stolen items were returned to their rightful owners.The suspect is in custody.
