Free family-friendly concerts are taking place throughout Los Angeles County this summer, with funding provided by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

Two of the concerts are scheduled locally in July and September.

Since its inception in 1947, the Los Angeles County Arts Commission has administered funding for free concerts at community venues throughout the LA County as part of the Free Concerts in Public Sites Program. The program provides support to organizations presenting accessible, quality music programming that represents the diversity of the region.

Artists who perform as part of the Free Concerts in Public Sites program are chosen by the concert presenters from the Arts Commission’s Musicians Roster, a vetted list of over 100 LA County-based groups representing a range of musical styles. This online directory is accessible to the general public. Musicians Roster artists are chosen by a panel of music professionals based on artistic excellence, cultural diversity and the ability to work cooperatively with other organizations. Learn more.
