The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health recognizes National Infant Immunization Week by continuing to promote the importance of getting infants, toddlers and children vaccinated. Immunizations are the best protection for children against a number of dangerous diseases such as measles, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B, and chickenpox.
“Just last week, the measles outbreak that started in late December was announced to be officially over by the state,” said Jeffrey Gunzenhauser, MD, MPH, Interim Health Officer for Los Angeles County. “Controlling this outbreak took considerable effort and is a reminder of just how susceptible our communities can be when everyone is not vaccinated. We are asking all parents and guardians to do their part to help keep our communities safe and prevent measles and other diseases from returning by vaccinating your children.”
Joining with a Big Cities Health Coalition campaign to increase awareness on the importance of getting vaccinated, LA County has highlighted the issue of Measles, Vaccines, and Infectious Disease Prevention on its website.
Public Health will continue to promote awareness about the importance and safety of vaccines. For referrals to no-cost and low-cost immunization providers, dial 2-1-1 (Los Angeles County Information Line) or visit the Public Health website at www.publichealth.lacounty.gov.

It should be a crime to vaccinate your kids with big pharma poison. People who vaccinate their kids should be banned from school since they are carrying around live virus. Maybe one day kids will be able to sue big pharma and school districts for poisoning them as children.

Please do your kids a favor and do some actual research instead of blindly believing “county officials” and Pharmaceutical companies. Or better yet, read the warning labels before injecting poison into your children.
Dr. Gunzemhauser (county official suited in this article) received his medical training in the US Military. Sorry but that just strikes me as a little wrong.

While you wait 8 hours to “moderate” my comments and then push this story to the bottom as fast as possible, why don’t you run a story on the legislation that is quietly being pushed through to eliminate the “Religious Belief” clause to opt out of vaccinations? This right is clearly protected the the US Constitution.

Wait. Did’nt our REPUBLICAN State Rep. Mrs. George Runner vote against making vaccinations a requirement for children because it violated parents rights to expose their children to communicable diseases such as measles??? So Parents, when the next epidemic of Measles happens in the valley, should your child be jeopardized, call your Doctor first, then Mr. And Mrs. Runner’s office next, followed by a call to your lawyer.
