The candidate filing period for the March 3, 2020, Presidential Primary Election is now open, Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan announced Tuesday.
Potential candidates must file a Declaration of Candidacy and submit a qualifying Nomination Paper in order to appear on the March 3, 2020 Presidential Primary Election ballot.
All candidates must file their Declaration of Candidacy and Nomination Paper at the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office in Norwalk during the filing period of November 12 – December 6, 2019.
The Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office is located at 12400 Imperial Highway, Norwalk 90650. Its hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (the office will be closed November 28 and 29, 2019 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday).
The office will be open Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for nomination extensions only.
