Suspects in Lebec Murder-Kidnap Captured in Colorado

The two suspects in the alleged kidnapping of three children belonging to a woman who was found dead in a remote area of Lebec were arrested earlier today in Pueblo, Colorado.

Officers from the Pueblo Police Department in Colorado arrested kidnapping suspects Brittany Humphrey and Joshua Robertson at approximately 12 p.m.

Officers were conducting an unrelated investigation at a local motel when they contacted kidnapping suspect Brittany Humphrey and the missing 1 and a half year-old Madisyn Harper.

The second suspect, Joshua Robertson, was located approximately two blocks away from the motel and both suspects were taken into custody without incident.

Madisyn was unharmed and is now in the custody of local authorities.

Both Humphrey and Robertson are wanted on kidnapping charges and for questioning in the death of Kimberly Harvill.

Three of Harvill’s children were found Wednesday in a motel on the outskirts of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the death Harvill.

    Great news that all the children have been recovered unharmed and that the suspects have been apprehended. But my heart hurts for the four children who are now in the custody of strangers, frightened, in unfamiliar surroundings, and who don’t know what’s going to happen to them. Poor kids.

    I wonder if the sister was part of this or just trying to protect the kids and was also in danger from this guy?
