Nola Aronson’s Advanced Audiology is hosting a free three-day hearing screening event next week to help local residents who may have hearing loss but want to remain active and ensure that they are communicating effectively with friends, family and co-workers.
“Hearing loss occurs over time, but we’re seeing it affect younger segments of the population now than in the past,” said Aronson, a respected local audiologist who founded Advanced Audiology in 2010. “As baby boomers get older, they’re discovering that those rock concerts they attended in their youth may have had a lasting impact on their hearing.”
Fortunately, Aronson says, modern digital technology is producing incredible advances in hearing aid technology, which will be on display during the special three-day screening event Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 19-21. Advanced Audiology will host the event at its office, 23822 Valencia Blvd., Suite 103, next to the Auto Club in the Owen Patterson building. Space is limited and individuals are encouraged to call (661) 505-1898 to reserve an appointment.
“The newest, state-of-the-art hearing aids are virtually invisible, and they are full-time wearable. Work with them, sleep with them, swim with them — the technology and miniaturization of these devices are simply amazing,” Aronson said. “They’re perfect for people who lead active lifestyles.”
During the screening event, Aronson and her team of audiology experts will provide free, painless hearing screenings. The first 25 participants who engage in a free, no-obligation, 30-day trial of the new technology will receive a three-day, two-night vacation getaway.
Aronson added: “This is a terrific opportunity to not only get a free hearing screening, but also if you’re a candidate for a hearing aid, you can take one for a 30-day test drive and have a little vacation on us, too.”
Nola Aronson’s Advanced Audiology (www.scvadvancedaudiology.com) was established in September 2010. Before then, Aronson successfully grew two other practices in Santa Clarita and has helped hearing impaired patients since 1987. Advanced Audiology is the largest diagnostic hearing center in the SCV, and the community’s leader of advanced technology and invisible solutions.
