The Master’s College track and field program continues to add depth to its roster with the signing of Max Hudson, a native of Hanford.
“I chose The Master’s College because of its sound doctrine, Christ-centered approach to education, and the Christian atmosphere,” said Hudson.
Before his time at TMC, Hudson crafted an impressive athletic and academic resume at Kings Christian High School, a member of the East Sierra League.
Academically, Hudson was a four-time “A” honor roll recipient and was the school’s top scholar in 2015.
Hudson led Kings Christian to two consecutive valley football championships, was named the team’s MVP for football, earned track & field MVP honors, was named league MVP for football, and was a first-team all-league linebacker as well.
Looking ahead to his time as a Mustang, Hudson aims to achieve a number of admirable goals.
“I want to grow as an athlete while pursuing my major and growing in Christ.”
When not competing in the pole vault, Hudson plans to major in liberal studies for a career as a theology professor.
“Max’s strong work ethic and excitement to expand men’s track and field into the pole vault will make him a highly valuable asset to us,” commented TMC head coach Zach Schroeder. “Max is a great communicator, has clear goals, and the drive to accomplish his dreams. He has a very personable demeanor and will connect well with our team. I believe Max will be influential in what track & field at The Master’s College becomes.”
Looking to another fruitful season, TMC’s track program will be graduating only two seniors and returning a handful of veterans.
