Two people were killed in a head-on collision in Canyon Country Wednesday morning.
California Highway Patrol officers are investigating the fatal crash that was reported around 8:45 a.m. in the 13100 block of Soledad Canyon Road, according to Los Angeles County Fire officials, who responded to the scene along with CHP officers.
A blue Honda Element heading southbound veered into the northbound lane, according to initial reports.
The Honda collided head on with a Metrolink service truck, officials said.
One passenger in his car was reportedly extricated from the vehicle using emergency equipment, and she was transported to a local hospital where she reportedly succumbed to her injuries.
Preliminary reports indicate she succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, but officials are not releasing any information regarding the victims’ identities.
There were five people in the Metrolink truck, and none of the truck’s occupants was seriously injured.
The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
CHP officials are still on scene investigating as of 11:20 a.m., and coroner’s officials are en route.

It wasn’t a train accident. It was a Honda and Metro Utility Truck Head-On Collision.
It was near Rivers End RV Park.

Noelle K. Gibbs a honda element?!?
Was the person in the Honda who veered into the opposite side of the road texting while driving?
It’s a curvy steep stretch there just west of the tunnel, anything’s possible.
In the article, it refers to “his car” and “he and she” but there’s no clarification on who they are or which cars they were actually riding in…
Update?

Christina, Hold your karma BS for another day. Was it karma that the young lady in the car was the mother of the child that he abducted and he the father? Is is karma that both parents are now dead? Would it be karma if the same thing happened to you?
