The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Santa Clarita, will host their 7th annual Patriots Luncheon at the Tournament Players Club in Valencia on Thursday, July 13.

The luncheon welcomes and honors veterans from our community who have served as far back as WWII and have made their way back to help serve our Valley’s business community.

“The Patriots Luncheon is a way for us to recognize and honor our business leaders who have also served our country,” said John Musella, SCV Chamber of Commerce chairman. “The veterans we recognize each year have not only left an impact on our nation, but they have also made an impact here in Santa Clarita.”

Nominations are currently open for veterans who reside in the Santa Clarita Valley and are or were involved in our business community. The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, June 2 by 5 p.m.

“So far, 18 veterans have been submitted for nominations to the committee and we keep receiving more and more veterans,” Musella said. “It’s definitely going to be a challenge for the nominating committee to narrow it down to the six or eight individuals we recognize.”

The nominating committee is comprised of five individuals who represent the chamber, the city, and residents involved in the local veterans community.
