The sounds of live Jazz and Blues bands will fill Town Center Drive in Valencia for one more Friday night, July 25th, as the 15th Annual Valencia Jazz & Blues Series comes to a close.  This Friday will feature popular blues recording artist Doña Oxford.

“Internationally famous, Doña Oxford, “The Goddess of Soul” has toured all over the world.  With her vocal cool, attitude, sultry good looks, amazing keyboard playing, she is one of our most popular headliners,” said Barbara Myler, CEO of Summit West Public Relations & Marketing and owner/producer of the concert series.

“This concert season has been the most exciting and best attended of any year.  We have our Sponsors, Vendors and Media partners to thank for making these concerts possible again this year:  Especially, our Gold “Angel” Sponsors, RE/MAX of Valencia, Whitening Lightning, Hyatt Regency Valencia, the City of Santa Clarita, Valencia Acura, Conservation Station and the SCV Chamber of Commerce. In addition to the extraordinary sounds offered by Doña Oxford, the concert series brings a variety of food and beverages, including wine and beer for the adults.  Salt Creek Grille and BJ’s Restaurant will continue serving food at the event.

“With all their support, we not only had a great time, we were able to continue our much loved tradition of raising funds and awareness for our local charities and making people smile!”  Myler said.

Hours for the concerts are 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM. The events take place on Town Center Drive at McBean Parkway – in the street, adjacent to the Hyatt Regency Valencia.  Admission is free. No pets or outside food or beverages are allowed.
