The Valencia Jazz and Blues Concert Series is set to begin its 20th Anniversary celebration at a new location, Westfield Valencia Town Center, on Friday, June 14, and all shows will again be free to the public.

“We are thrilled to celebrate our 20th year fresh and new with the beautiful surroundings of Westfield Valencia Town Center,” said Barbara Myler, series owner/producer. “This concert series offers a safe and festive atmosphere for our guests, bringing the community, families, businesses and non-profits together, contributing to the incredible quality of life in the Santa Clarita Valley.”

Established 20 years ago, the Valencia Jazz & Blues Series will continue to create an incredible atmosphere in downtown Valencia – now located in a quaint street party setting on Town Center Drive, across from the Westfield Valencia Town Center entrance.

The street will be filled every Friday evening beginning June 14 through August 2 with the extraordinary sounds from some of the top Jazz and Blues recording artists in the world.

The 2019 talent lineup will be announced separately in the coming weeks, Myler said.

Each week will provide entertainment and fun for the whole family, including special food and beverages and activities for the kids, while raising awareness and funds for local non-profits that serve our community and highlighting the local business sponsors that make it all possible.

Food, beverage and sponsor booths will open at 6:30 p.m. Music by the featured artists will begin at 7 p.m. and last until 9:30 p.m.

Series sponsors making this year’s concerts possible include the Westfield Valencia Town Center, Princess Cruises, the city of Santa Clarita, Chiquita Canyon and Mercedes-Benz of Valencia, as well returning and new weekly sponsors.

The VIP Experience provides concertgoers an opportunity to entertain clients, or for special company or personal celebrations. VIP tables may be reserved (based on availability) and guests will enjoy benefits including reserved table seating, bar service, special food options, and more.

No pets or outside food or beverages are allowed. Admission is free.
