Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is holding a career expo Saturday, Dec. 5 at Southwest College.

The expo will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with written exams starting at 11:30 a.m.

The written exams will be on a walk-in basis. Please bring a valid I.D. to take the written exam.

The public is invited to learn about our diversity of assignments and career opportunities by presenting exhibits from the various units, bureaus and divisions throughout the LASD.

All applicants must be at least 19 and a half years old at the date of the test, have a valid driver license, a qualified U.S. High School diploma or G.E.D., be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident and have applied for citizenship and no felony convictions. If an applicant comes to a walk-in exam without the license requirement they are turned away.
