4. VALENCIA BOULEVARD MEDIAN REFURBISHMENT, PROJECT B1014 – AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
The proposed Valencia Boulevard Median Refurbishment project will renovate the Valencia Boulevard medians and construct three median modifications between Tourney Road and Magic Mountain Parkway. The project will remove the turf in the medians and replace it with plant material that requires significantly less water, install a more durable and efficient irrigation system, make provisions for recycled water when it becomes available, and install concrete unit pavers on a concrete base.
