Western swing is the official music of Texas, and these four award-winning, high-energy Western music performers from Texas have thrown in together to kick up some serious dust around the old corral. As a result, what Miss Devon & the Outlaw, Kristyn Harris, and Texas champion fiddle player Brook Wallace do is more fun than puttin’ socks on a rooster.

MISS DEVON & THE OUTLAW

Devon Dawson and Jessie Robertson formed their fun, musical duo in 2007. Since then they have won many awards. Devon is a top entertainer in western music, known for her “vintage sock-rhythm guitar style, and warm ‘swingtime cowgirl’ vocals which bring to mind legendary B-western ladies of the silver screen. Jessie has a”fine tenor to baritone vocals” reminiscent of Tommy Duncan, lead singer with Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys. He also plays a little saxophone and may drift off into a dozen alias personalities… better keep an eye on the rascal.

devonoutlaw2Just a few of their awards:
Western Music Association:
2014, 2013 Duo/Group of the Year
2013 Trio/Group Harmony Award with Kristyn Harris
2009, 2012, 2014 Duo/Group Harmony Award
Academy of Western Artists: 2009 Female Performer of the Year (Devon)
National Cowboy Hall of Fame: 2013 Wrangler Award for New Horizons
GRAMMY Award: Woody’s Roundup , Riders in the Sky, based on Toy Story 2.  Miss Devon received a Grammy certificate for singing two songs on the award winning album as  JESSIE, the Yodelin’ Cowgirl

Kristyn_promoKRISTYN HARRIS
Kristyn Harris made a lot of new fans during her second appearance at the 2015 Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival AND her OutWest Concert Series April Performance!

Youth Harmony Duo of the Year with Olivia Hobbs
2013 Western Swing Album of the Year
2012 Crescendo Award for Rising Star
Academy of Western Artists:  2013 Female Performer of the Year
Cowtown Society of Western Music: 2015 Rising Star of the Year Inductee

brook_wallaceShe started playing music at age 14 and last fall, became the youngest performer to win the WMA Female Vocalist of the Year. Kristyn is “noted for her powerful vocals, solid rhythm guitar style, songwriting, yodeling, and captivating stage presence.” She is joined by award-winning fiddle champ Brook Wallace.

This is a rare opportunity to catch two acts in one for the same price. We are confident you’ll enjoy this evening of wonderful Western music by four talented Texans.
