Leading up to the Nov. 6, 2018 election, the Valley Industry Association will present a California State Assembly 38th District Candidate Forum at its monthly business luncheon at Valencia Country Club on Tuesday, Oct. 16, starting at 11:45 a.m.
VIA has invited incumbent 38th Assemblyman Dante Acosta and challenger Christy Smith, Board Member with the Newhall School District and Legislative V.P. of the SCV Trustees Association, to speak about their campaign platforms to the business community.
Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for consideration.
Ed Masterson, SOS Entertainment and VIA Immediate Past President, will moderate.
