Ghostly Tales at the Old Depot is a 90-minute experience that puts you in the middle of one of Santa Clarita’s most historic sites.
The event will take place at Saturday, Oct. 26 at Heritage Junction Historic Park inside William S. Hart Park. Tours start every half hour beginning at 6:00 p.m.; last tour will take place 8:30 p m.
Theatrical scenes will unfold before you, with original and published works including Edgar Allan Poe, Shakespeare, and more. You will hear tales of actual encounters and mysterious stories of murder and betrayal that took place a century ago yet still seem to haunt the people of this town.
This chilling experience is family-friendly. The outdoor trail is fully wheelchair accessible. Seating will be limited throughout the tour, so expect to be standing for about an hour, though the distance covered is short so walking will be minimal.
This is a fundraising event and all proceeds go to Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival and Open Wings Theatre Company.
Tickets include a hot apple cider and sweet treat, and many more refreshments will be available for purchase, including funnel cakes, popcorn, and a variety of seasonal snacks and beverages. Live music enhances the atmosphere, bringing you a full experience of sights, sounds, and tastes that you won’t soon forget.
