The California Department of Transportation will close various freeway off-ramps along US 101, State Route 110 (SR-110) and Interstate 405 (I-405) on Sunday, March 9 from 3 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Los Angeles Marathon. The off-ramp closures are as follows:
Northbound Hollywood Freeway (US 101)
* 3 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. – Full closure of Spring Street and Grand Avenue off-ramp
* 3:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. – Full closure of Glendale Boulevard off-ramp
* 3:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. – Full closure of Hollywood Boulevard off-ramp
* 3:55 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. – Left turn lane at Gower Street
* 4 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. – Right turn lane at Highland Avenue
Southbound Hollywood Freeway (US 101)
* 3:10 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. – Full closure of Broadway and Temple Street off-ramp
* 3:45 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. – Full closure of Hollywood Boulevard off-ramp
* 3:55 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. – Right turn lanes at Gower Street and Vine Street
* 4 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. – Full closure of Highland Avenue off-ramp
Northbound Pasadena Freeway (SR 110)
* 3:10 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. – Full closure of Southbound US 101/Temple Street off-ramp
* 3 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. – Full closure of Stadium Way/Hill Street off-ramp
Southbound Pasadena Freeway (SR 110)
* 3 a.m. to 9:10 a.m. – Full closure of Sunset Boulevard/Figueroa Street off-ramp
* 3 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. – Full closure of Stadium Way and Hill Street off-ramp
Southbound San Diego Freeway (I-405)
* 4:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. – Left turn lane at Santa Monica Boulevard
Caltrans issued an encroachment permit for the “Los Angeles Marathon.” Expect delays in these areas. Signs will be posted for motorists’ convenience. Please “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
