Carousel Ranch is pleased to announce it has received a $1,300 donation from The Local Pub & Grill from the sale of their “Charity Ale”. This was the first of what will be an on-going partnership between The Local and Carousel Ranch to raise funds from this sale of this locally brewed pale ale.

Steve and Mendy Cruse, long-time SCV residents and owners of The Local explained that part of their business model is to give back to the Santa Clarita community, through donations to various causes. They have certainly already brought that model to life with over $10,000 given since the restaurant opened last September. When asked why they selected Carousel Ranch to dedicate as their Charity Ale recipient, Steve explained “It is the least we can do. We saw what Carousel Ranch does and for us it is simply about helping the kids.” Mendy went on to add that they love giving in this straight-forward way, being able to see exactly where the money is going and how it is helping.”
