The Master’s College men’s cross county and track teams continue to add to their rosters with the recent signing of Justin Harris, a native of Spearfish, S.D.
“I look forward to going to a college where both students and faculty strive to devote themselves to the Lord,” commented Harris. “I am excited to begin classes and run at TMC!”
In 2015, Harris captained Spearfish High School’s cross country team that was consistently ranked among South Dakota’s top-25 teams and placed third overall in the state.
Looking ahead to his time as a Mustang, Harris already has his eyes set on a number of achievable goals.
“I wish to bring my best to the team and develop as a runner to eventually be a competitive asset for The Master’s College cross country and track teams,” said Harris.
When not competing, Harris plans to major in Business Administration and desires to pursue a career in the military after his time at TMC.
Affirming Harris’ collegiate aspirations, TMC head coach Zach Schroeder said, “Justin comes to us with a lot of upside potential and possesses the work ethic to develop his talents. I believe he will be an essential part of the continued success of our program and will help us carry out our team vision of living out true Christianity through elite running.”
Looking to another fruitful season, both teams will be graduating only two seniors and returning a slew of veterans.
