Riverside, Sept. 17 – The Master’s University women’s cross country team placed fifth out of 20 teams at the UC Riverside Invitational.

Morgan Pedrick placed 11th overall and paced the fourth-ranked Mustangs in the 5k with a final time of 17:57.6. Notably, Pedrick’s time became TMU’s fastest individual time in program history on UC Riverside’s Ag Ops Course (previous time held by Lady Mustang cross country alumni Hayley Parkinson (18:22.6, 2010).

Mikala Fairchild placed 33rd after clocking a final time of 18:36.2, while Rachael Ingoldsby followed in 35th place at 18.37.7.

Rylee Bishop (45) ran the 5k in 18:49.4, Emma Bahr (56) finished at 19:04.6, and Rachel Rush (69) earned a 19:15.2 final time.

Finally, Arianna Sciarra (135) finished Saturday’s race in 20:00.8, while Janae Hickey (179) concluded with a final time of 20:46.8.

Next on the calendar is the fifth-annual Mustang Challenge held at Central Park in Saugus on October 1.

Men

Riverside, Sept. 17 – The Master’s University men’s cross country team placed 15th out of 29 teams at the UC Riverside Invitational.

Andrew Orona placed 47th overall and paced the sixth-ranked Mustangs in the 8k with a final time of 25:09.3.

Michael Sciarra placed 60th after clocking a time of 25:18.1, while Skyler Mikesell (113) finished the event in 25:49.9.

Alec Franco (147) finished Saturday’s 8k in 26:15.9, followed by Tim Gutierrez (182) clocked a final time of 26:34.9.

Stephen Pacheco (213) posted a final time of 26:54.6, Joshua Nunez (227) followed at 27:05, and Andrew Dolan (308) finished at 28:22.3.

Finally, Gareth Matson (313) finished the invitational in 28:26.7, while Justin Harris (362) claimed a final time of 29:40.7

Next on the calendar is the fifth-annual Mustang Challenge held at Central Park in Saugus on October 1.
