Northridge, CA – CSUN Athletics has announced a four-game Matador Passport series at games from Thursday, February 18 – Sunday, February 21. Fans in attendance at home men’s and women’s basketball, men’s volleyball and baseball games during those four days can have their Matador Passports stamped for the chance to win CSUN prizes, including a CSUN parking pass, bookstore gift cards, MataMoney and more.
“As we head into spring competition, we have many exciting games and events to look forward to and we’re excited for CSUN students to help us support our student-athletes,” said Dr. Brandon Martin, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. “The Matador Passport is a fun, innovative way for CSUN students to engage with our teams and continue to ‘Rock the Red’ at Matador home games. We’re grateful for our campus partners and the Committee on Athletics and Student Engagement’s help and support to launch this creative promotion.”
Fans will receive their Matador Passports at the first game in the series, CSUN Men’s Basketball vs. Hawai’i on Thursday, February 18. In order to be eligible for Matador Passport series prizes, fans must attend and have their passport stamped at each of the four games, and along the way they’ll also receive giveaways including three exclusive CSUN T-shirts. Grand prizewinners will be selected and announced during the seventh inning stretch of the CSUN baseball game against Cal State Bakersfield on February 21.

Matador Passport grand prizewinners announced during seventh inning stretch
The Matador Passport is a result of a partnership between CSUN Athletics, The University Corporation, Associated Students, Red Rally and CSUN Housing through the Committee on Athletics and Student Engagement, or the CASE Group. The CASE Group is a collaborative effort to increase support of CSUN Athletics on campus and it puts on popular promotions like the Matador Spirit Parades and Fan Fairs.
