Super expensive, not to mention humiliating!

  2. Call safe ride people! They take you and your car home safely for $20 anywhere in Santa Clarita!!!!

  3. Joyce Carson says:

We were caught in this long line last night. While it is a ‘pain’ to spend your Saturday night this way, I appreciate all efforts to keep the residents of our city safe. And yes, it is expensive. If only everyone
Would make safe choices on their own.

  4. Saamie Shrum says:

Oh SCV! Your deff somethin else! :)

  5. Chuck Giglio says:

    Those are pretty small numbers

  6. Hahaha dash covers make excellent hidden compartments.. just gotta find the spot for your nug jug..

  7. 2 arrests? cmon, i see more drunk drivers during the day, monday-thursday.

  8. To those who say it’s expensive, exactly what is the price you put on a human life that’s ended by a drunk? And, yes, it should be humiliating. And, it was also very well deserved.

  9. Ryan Moreno says:

wow two arrest! what a great way to use money and time! you go awesometown!

  10. Mike Coulter says:

Exactly what price do you put on your 4th amendment rights? Those that sacrifice liberty for security have neither.

  11. Set up a check for cell phone use

  12. I will post the number for safe ride for everyone tonight when I get to work.

  13. Vee Giny says:

Officers were kind and funny. Nice to see. I like feeling like they’re here for me and not against me.

  15. The return on investment seems incredibly poor.

  16. Some people are just that stupid for driving under the influence. Let’s see how many thousands it will cost them.

  17. Just because they only arrested 2, doesn’t mean they are not doing their jobs, it probably means people are wising up and not driving drunk, ever think about that?

  18. I refuse check points like this. They cant stop you without probable cause and this is exactly what they do.

  19. Nic Miller says:

These check points are funded by grants.
