A 911 call led to the arrest of two transients in Val Verde who had warrants and methamphetamine on Friday night, according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials.
Here’s the story from the station’s official social media:
The caller reported suspicious activity to a station dispatcher, she saw a female Hispanic adult on the 31200 block of Delwood Street casing cars and trying the handles to see if they were unlocked.
When the caller went outside, the female suspect took off running to an RV that was parked on a nearby street.
Responding deputies found the RV, and saw a male adult standing next to it. As they approached him and inquired if there was a female Hispanic inside the RV, the man started acting very nervous. He confessed to deputies that he “might have a warrant out for his arrest.”
Deputies checked and sure enough — the man had two warrants in the system for narcotics, totaling $100,000.
The female adult came out of the RV. After obtaining her name, deputies found out she also had a warrant out for her arrest in the amount of $125,000.
Inside the RV, deputies found methamphetamine, which the male adult said was his.
David Bison, a male white adult, age 31, and Elizabeth Castro, a female Hispanic adult, age 36, were arrested, booked and transported to the SCV Sheriff’s Station.

I hope they did not tow the RV as this might be their only home.
I hope time in jail or forced live in rehab will help them get free from drugs which is the core issue here.
It will take 6 months or more to break free.
