Wow First Bank is closing a branch here also. What’s happening around here?
Logix Credit Union in Golden Valley is great with customer service. Union Banks thinks we want to drive to their branch on Lyons.

I would guess that it is costing them more to keep this branch site open than what they are making there. No company closes it’s doors at any location unless it is not profitable. Has nothing to do with ‘many banks moving in this direction’ otherwise they’d close the doors to all locations and be an online only bank.

Guess they should close. I’ve lived here 50 years and never noticed a bank in that center. Hummm.
I guess closing the doors is considered “moving in a direction”

Not cool
My Stevenson Ranch branch closed. This Canyon Country branch is kaput. Only one left here is one location on Lyons,….it just doesn’t sound like the direction-moving preference for customers.
They should at least keep an ATM there. Now they are down to only Valencia Blvd. and Lyons Ave. and that is not very convenient for customers around the valley :(
Years ago that was a branch of Valencia Bank which was acquired by Union Bank. It’s not surprising that they’re closing unprofitable branches. There are other choices within a few blocks, though I do wish a credit union would open a branch or at least an ATM along Soledad between Sierra and Camp Plenty.

I remembered when they put this bank in the plaza and ended up getting robbed. Was never happy living right behind a bank.
