SCV Summer Job Fair Event

The City of Santa Clarita, the Santa Clarita WorkSource Center/America’s Job Center of California in Santa Clarita and College of the Canyons will host a SCV Summer Job Fair from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at The Centre, located at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway.The SCV Summer Job Fair will provide job seekers an opportunity to search for jobs and interact with local employers in one centralized location and a professional environment.

Confirmed employers looking to fill seasonal and summer jobs include: Accesso, AMS Fulfillment, Bricks 4 Kidz, Chick-fil-A, the City of Santa Clarita, CVS Health, Digiphoto, Lowe’s, Mountasia Family Fun Center, New Horizons, Buongusto, Outdoor Journeys, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Valley Trails Summer Camp, Whiz Tutor, and the YMCA. Additional employers may be added.

The SCV Summer Job Fair will also feature helpful free workshops for job-seekers, including professionalism skills, interview tips, resume review and application help. Job-seekers must be 16 years of age or older, should come dressed to impress and have multiple copies of their resume available.

Employers interested in participating in the SCV Summer Job Fair can fill out the employer application at santa-clarita.com/summerjobs.
