Firefighters received a call at 1:27 p.m. and were on scene one minute later, according to Inspector Reade of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The call reported fire and smoke showing in multiple units at the condo complex near the intersection of Rue Crevier and Rainbow Glen Drive, just south of Soledad Canyon Road.

Fire officials said the blaze was  confined to two upstairs condominium units.

As of 1:45 p.m., no injuries have been reported and no other structures are threatened.

Knockdown was declared at 1:49 p.m.

A witness told authorities the fire started outside of the complex and then climbed to the upstairs apartments.

The ‘landscapers did it’ theory doesn’t fly. Looks pretty clear to these eyes that the fire started in the upper level.

  20. Big ass law suit against them . If this is true .

  21. There was just a fire there at the complex last year. The HOA raised the dues $30 due to an increase in fire insurance. Here comes another increase or possibly a cancellation of the policy. Say it isn’t so. What’s the word Ilene Wallach Scandlyn?

    Thanks Vanessa Vanessa Arjoon

These condos have been there for over 25 years. Seems like the reporters would be able to tell the difference between apartment where people rent from condos that people own.
