Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder County Clerk Dean C. Logan invites citizens and media to “Voting in America,” a panel discussion on the barriers to voting for the disabled and underprivileged communities, set for the University of Southern California on Tuesday, April 10 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
USC’s Unruh Institute, Disability Rights California and the LA County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk will partner to provide opportunities for young people to get involved in voting committees such as the Voting Accessibility Advisory Committee and the Community Voter and Outreach Committee.
The event will feature a panel discussion, resources and a Q&A session.
The panelists will be Dean C. Logan, LA County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk; Gabe Taylor, Disability Rights California; and Dr. Barbara Wheeler, USC Center for Excellence in Development Disabilities.
The panel will take place in the Rosen Theater (TCC227) at USC.
