The MAIN Gallery
24266 Main Street, Santa Clarita, CA 91321
Celebrate the City’s 30th birthday with us by visiting the newest visual art exhibit at The MAIN, “City’s 30th Anniversary.” The exhibit showcases photographs of Santa Clarita’s beautiful environment, architecture and vibrant community life captured by local photographers. Photos were selected from submissions entered into the City of Santa Clarita Photo Contest. Also on display is unique artwork that reinterprets or is inspired by the City seal. Residents are invited to view the free exhibit during gallery hours: Tuesday through Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
You’re invited to a totally rad reception – Thursday, August 17 at 7:00 p.m.
Thirty years ago, the City of Santa Clarita was founded in 1987. To celebrate this grand milestone, on Thursday, August 17 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., you’re invited to attend a special art reception themed after the totally rad 1980s era the City was born in!
The MAIN will be transformed to a 1980s inspired space where you can enjoy blast from the past appetizers, wicked 80s beats and a chance to meet the tubular artists and photographers behind the exhibit. The event will also feature an 8-bit wall art display and a special interactive installation inviting visitors to take their photos and become part of a temporary photo wall collage celebrating the residents of Santa Clarita.
