Once again, it is that time of year to come together with friends, family, and your Santa Clarita Valley neighbors and celebrate the annual National Night Out.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, in conjunction with the city of Santa Clarita, is kicking off “National Night Out” Against Crime on Saturday, Aug. 3, 4:00 p.m. at Central Park, 27150 Bouquet Canyon Rd. The station will provide the public with the latest information on crime prevention and safety.
National Night Out will run in conjunction with the City’s Concerts in the Park event. Mirage, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, will be taking the stage and entertaining the crowd.
Come and enjoy displays by the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, along with displays from California Highway Patrol.
Join 37 million other people from across the United States and help send a powerful message to criminals letting them know your neighborhood is fighting back.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Residents, business leaders, community representatives, and media professionals are invited and encouraged to attend the event.
For additional information regarding the event, contact Deputy Natalie Hidalgo at (661) 255-1121 x 5160.
