College of the Canyons returns home to Cougar Stadium, Thursday at 7:00 p.m. vs. Moorpark College, in the fourth of five regular season home games slated for the 2019 campaign.

This week all SCV youth football & cheer teams — Santa Clarita Cowboys, Grizzlies, Spartans, Vikings, Warriors, Wildcats and other parks and recreation programs etc. — are invited to attend Thursday’s game free of charge (with jersey/uniform).

General admission tickets are $10. Kids under 10 and seniors over 60 are $5.

In addition, all 2019 home games will be live streamed to fans through a broadcast partnership with SoCalCollegeSports.com. Archived footage of the game can also be viewed at any time following the broadcast.

New this season, SCVTV Channel 20 will also be replaying the broadcast on its website and local TV station.

Canyons (4-1) currently owns a four-game win streak. Most recently, the Cougars defeated host Golden West College 35-24 in week five.

Moorpark (1-4) has dropped back-to-back contests after a 34-7 week three victory over Glendale College.

Thursday’s game is the Southern California Football Association (SCFA) National Division, Northern League opener.

Canyons is the defending Northern League champions.

The remaining 2019 COC football home schedule and invite list is included below:
– 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 vs. Long Beach City College
– All veterans and active duty military personnel admitted free (w/ valid ID)
– Special halftime performance by California Flyers cheer program
