Valencia: Zone 5 – Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the week of 01/02/2017 – 01/08/2017.
01/03/2017 Tuesday
Grand Theft -27500 block of Wayne Mills Place
A suspect met the victim at the location to sell him some items. The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse which had her cell phone and other items. The suspect left the location. .
Burglary (Commercial) – 28100 block of Newhall Ranch Road
Unknown suspect(s) entered three different locations by smashing the front door. A phone was stolen from one of the locations however nothing was taken from the other two locations.
Grand theft auto-25400 block of Rye Canyon Road
The victim’s 2002 Ford F-250 was stolen from the location.
Burglary (Vehicle) -24500 block of Town Center Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s vehicle by smashing the window. The victim’s wallet was stolen from her car.
Grand Theft -26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road
An unknown suspect stole numerous items from inside the location. Most of the items stolen were jewelry.

Grand Theft -25900 block of McBean Parkway
An unknown suspect walked into the location, entered a back room, and stole the victim’s laptop from the location.

Grand Theft- 24200 block of Valencia Boulevard
An unknown suspect made entry into the location, walked towards the children’s area, selected two hover boards, and exited the store without paying for the items.
Grand Theft – 24500 block of Town Center Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s unlocked car and stole several items from inside the car.

Grand Theft Auto -26000 block of La Palma Court
An unknown suspect stole the victim’s 2015 Infiniti Q40 black 4 door.
01/08/2017 Sunday
Petty Theft -25900 block of McBean Parkway
An unknown suspect entered the location and stole a box of shoe polish.
Burglary (Vehicle)- 22700 block of Festividad Drive
An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s locked car and stole a few items.
ATM Safety Tips
If you or your family members use ATM cash machines on a regular basis, here are some tips that can make the process a little safer:
•Only use ATM machines in a well-lighted, open, high-traffic area
•Use ATMs inside busy supermarkets when possible
•When you approach an ATM, scan the area first for loiterers
•Have your card ready and leave quickly, not counting your cash in public
