1927 - Baker Ranch Rodeo owners announce they'll award $4,000 in cash prizes at first major event (2nd annual rodeo at future Saugus Speedway) [story]

Join Santa Clarita Transit this holiday season for a festive tour of some of our city’s best displays of holiday décor. This December, Santa Clarita Transit will host a Holiday Light Tour on board our classic wood trolley and local Dial-A-Ride vehicles.

The 45-minute tour will allow passengers to view local displays of cheer, while leaving the driving to us. Tours will depart from McBean Regional Transitholiday-light-tour-2015-5 Center Friday, Dec. 16 and Saturday, Dec. 17 beginning at 6 p.m.  with the last trip departing at 9 p.m. Tickets can be purchased upon boarding the trolley for $3 per person, or free with the donation of canned food. Seats will be available on a first-come first-served basis.

The Friday tour will explore Saugus and Valencia area displays, while Saturday evening will focus on Newhall and Stevenson Ranch. Don’t forget to bring your donations for the Santa Clarita Food Pantry. For a list of suggested donations click here.

Are they handicapped accessible? Can you get a wheel chair on any of the buses? I would love to take my son but he is in a wheelchair.
