Come join Triumph Foundation’s Christmas outreach at its Eat For a Cause event being held at Route 66 in Canyon Country on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Triumph Foundation is a local nonprofit, whose mission is to help children, adults, and veterans with spinal cord injury/disorder to triumph over their disability and to inspire them to keep moving forward with their lives by pushing themselves to get better every day.
Every holiday season, Triumph goes to hospitals all over Southern California to visit people who’ve recently become paralyzed to delivery care caskets full of resources. The organization throws a little party, gives out gifts and goodies to help raise their spirits, and bring a message of hope.
Ten percent of your dinner tab will be donated to Triumph. The event will also have a silent auction where you can get some great deals on some Christmas presents.
Triumph is also asking for an optional $10 cover charge to help them raise necessary funding for the organization’s Christmas outreach. Triumph will have a donation jar out front if you’d like to contribute.
The nonprofit is also in need of donations such candy, snacks, treats, gift cards, travel size games and other stocking stuffers. Triumph is also seeking talented people to sew scarves, beanies, or blankets, or make jewelry or crafts to include in the baskets.
Eat For a Cause night is a great time to drop these items off.
Route 66 Classic Grill is located on 18730 Soledad Canyon Road, Canyon Country, 91351
