[AEALAS] – The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges has granted Albert Einstein Academy for Letters, Arts and Sciences a six-year accreditation status through the year 2021.

“We are very proud of our students, faculty, staff and parent community, for this enormous achievement,” said AEA Principal Edward Gika.

WASC is a world- renowned accrediting association and one of the six regional accrediting agencies in the United States, extending its services to over 4,500 public, independent, church- related, and proprietary pre-K–12 and adult schools.

Six years is the longest accreditation term offered by the association.  The accreditation status reflects Albert Einstein Academy’s high standards of education and student performance, school officials said.

It is based on all of the information provided by the school, including the self-study report, and the satisfactory completion of an on-site accreditation visit.

“The Commission looks forward to Albert Einstein Academy for Letters, Arts and Sciences’ anticipated success and continuing improvement, in keeping with ACS WASC’s pursuit of excellence in elementary, secondary, and adult education,” wrote WASC Chairperson Valene Staley in a congratulatory letter to the school.
