Hey, yo, Christians. It’s a little late to start complaining about Donald Trump.
I’m watching all pf the garbage on social media from conservative Christian Republicans asking Christians all over to get on their knees and pray Trump doesn’t win. Hello?
First, does God work that way? Are you really supposed to pray for a human being not to achieve his goals? Especially one who claims to be a Christian? You’re praying against your brother in Christ?
Personally, I believe the Bible scripture telling us not to judge lest we be judged is referring to salvation. So I would never say someone is not saved or not a Christian because I don’t know what’s in his heart. I’ll leave that one to the Lord on that person’s judgement day. To my Christian friends, how many times have you looked or acted “un-Christian?”
Second, telling us to drop and pray – now? Really? Why haven’t you been praying all along? Why haven’t you asked God to guide you to the right person or party or issues? Why is it that most Christians wait until the crap hits the fan before they seek guidance?
I believe there are several reasons. Many Christians believe God is in control … always. And that all outcomes are His will being played out. If that’s the case, then stop praying and asking for guidance, because it doesn’t matter. And if that’s the case, then Trump must be His man because he’s winning. So get over it and stop being disobedient to God and get on board.
I don’t believe that way. I believe God expects us to make informed decisions based on His word first, and then on the information available to us. He expects us to do our homework. For those who think God doesn’t care about governments, go back and study again. He does. You’ll find He actually gave them to us. Do you really want to disrespect and trounce on something God gave you to take care of? Good luck with that.
Most of you have decided Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio are the Christian choices. Are you sure? How do you know? Have you prayed on it? Have you sought guidance?
Is it because they talk about Jesus Christ more than the others? The guy in the presidency now called Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior. Isn’t there a passage in scripture that reads, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven; many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me” (Matthew 7:21-23). Pretty harsh? Either you know Him or you don’t. It’s really that simple. You might not always do what He says, but you at least know what He says, and you’re supposed to try.
I am not a Trump supporter. I haven’t made up my mind yet. Not even close. But I’m not going to drop to my knees and beg God to knock Trump out of the race. I don’t know what the Master Plan is. Do you? God might have one heck of a “gotcha” at the end of all of this.
So for you Christians who are imagining a Trump presidency raining down “fire and brimstone” like what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah, knock it off.
How about you get serious about the future of the country? Ask God to guide you and show you whom He wants, and forget whom you want. Get serious about getting this country back on track again, with God.
Do you really think God cares about the first black, woman, Asian, LGBTQ, Italian or Hispanic president? If you do, your scripture decipherer is all jacked up.
Shut up. Stop complaining. Stop philosophizing. Ask God for guidance, get off your knees, and go. Just “get ‘er done” in a Godly way.
If you can’t do that, pray for Christ to come back, and there will be peace again.

Joe,
I hope the invisible man in the sky helps you make the right pick for the visible man in the presidency.
Hey, a minor bone to pick. You write: Is it because they talk about Jesus Christ more than the others? The guy in the presidency now called Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior. Isn’t there a passage in scripture that reads, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ ……
“The guy in the presidency now called Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior….”
You just can’t give the President any respect? Not even as a Christian?
Dude, your republican candidates talk of the “Christian life and ethics” – well, they would be well to emulate the Obamas. Trump: 3 wives, who knows how many whores? Obama: 1 wife, long term marriage. Cruz? Gave less than 1% of his income to churches and charities? Obama? Gave 10 years of his life to community service to the poor.
You get the drift. Here, you have a stand up guy who walks the walk the most Christians just talk. You may not like his politics, but his service oriented life, his respect to others, and his solid family life are the things that Christianity extolls.
Ok, yeah, he has a cig every now and agin when Michelle isn’t looking…

Trump is a powerhouse. The Cristians have been misled for a long time. They are being used by the money changers in temple so to speak
