The LA SummerFEST 2015 Season Ended 

Rivendale is an empty field again 

Thousands of people came out to Rivendale park in Towsley Canyons…. The LA SummerFEST hosted 15 bands and musical groups & singers, worked with 12 commnunity groups and non-profits, and had more than 25 food trucks and local vendors participating in the festival.   We are already planning for next year and have some exciting things in the works. Each year we have an open call for participation in the LA SummerFEST!  Watch for our announcement early in January as we begin to firm up next year’s season.  We are always looking for new groups, new performances, local talent, and nonprofits to work with.

During the summer, the Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival is dedicated to producing free Shakespeare in the Park and the LA SummerFEST.  During the rest of the year, SCSF is dedicated to our Educational Outreach Program, providing free and low cost programing to our local schools, in-school assemblies, G.A.T.E. and after-school enrichment programs, ROMEO & JULIET touring local high schools, and community engagement programs.  Watch for our next performance at a school near you. https://www.facebook.com/SCShakespeareFest

Our special fundraising project this summer was our SCSF Scholarship Fund, in support of the college students working with the festival. This is a fund to help support these students in their educational pursuits.  We will continue to keep this portal open for people to express their ongoing support.
